Between Monday June 3 and Wednesday July 3 2024, the finalists of the Jazz & Pop, Music Theatre, Composition for Film and Theater (CFT) and the Master of Music programmes of the ArtEZ Academy of Music Arnhem will play their graduation performances.
All final exams are free to the public from outside ArtEZ. For some final exams, a (free) ticket must be booked. If this is the case, it is indicated on the final webpage.
Jade Doe, named after 'Jane Doe', embodies the average woman. Her lyrics resemble an open diary, recognizable to many and intriguing to curious souls. Her music blends jazz harmony with catchy pop melodies and infectious hooks. For this special occasion, Jade will be performing with her usual band, enriched by the addition of talented backing vocalists and featuring artist Mr. Weazley.
In the Jade Doe X Tom Glaser Duo, Jade and drummer/live electronics performer Tom Glaser present a fresh interpretation of her songs, rearranged for electronic drums and vocals.
With Band8 Collective, Jade Doe collaborates with a group of skilled musicians to combine jazz, soul, and hip-hop. All songs performed by Band8 Collective are original compositions, crafted collaboratively by the ensemble. Featuring artist Büsra Ayhan, this collective delivers a vibrant and eclectic sound.
